IBM cries "Uncle", refunds my tuition with interest.

File this one under "I'd rather be lucky than good".

I was able to exit on the call side of my IBM strangle today giving me a moderate 28% overall return that I will gladly take. After earnings were pretty much right on target, I wasn't expecting a move big enough to get me in the money.

Now I just need an exit strategy for these AMZN puts.

Stop the madness!

i'm dumbfounded.
Pic says it all:

NVR - What?

So NVR is at 52-week highs - probably totally justifed since they are a homebuilder!!! I hear that business is rapidly improving.

Cramer is calling the Dow to 14K fast - all of Wall Street is bullish - I am close to selling out I can't figure out the brushing off of all bad news. Granted there is a 12-24 month lag to really feel the housing down turn that is still developing but you would think the market would be taking some $ off the table?

Looks like we push higher - just high enough to break the last shorts - then a blow off top - then a correction?

Looking for trades (that work now!)
Could it be the start of smething beautiful?

How Could I Be So Dumb?

You'll see above the absolute beatdown i took today. How in the world can i get dominated in a market that a monkey (not cooper in this reference) could make millions?

I have sunk so far that i am currently watching CNBC World Asian Market Watch. All i've learned is that Kiwi dollars aren't the answer. Crikey!

Just a test post... so i'm out.

First Post

I thought we could move from the e-mail threads to a blog with, of course, the long-term plan of having a super-charged hedge fund returning billions in profits per year and then take over the world.

Send market thoughts, stock pics, and advice on staying sane in the changing globalization trading game.
